Services at more than 40 Bank of Ireland branches are to be dramatically reduced by the end of the year, with the bank planning to limit over-the-counter cash services to certain days of the week.

The move to cut cash services for customers comes in the wake of the bank's announcement of new fee structures for its current account customers. The new rules will require customers to keep €3,000 in their current account at all times...
