Ballymore is to seek planning permission later this month for a €450 million shopping scheme in Luton near London.

The company, which is owned by Roscommon native Sean Mulryan, had previously tried to build a shopping centre on the site but those plans were turned down by the local council, which feared it would take tenants and customers from the main shopping centre in the town.
