Ballygowan hopes to make a splash with first exports to Britain

One of Ireland’s best known brands, Ballygowan, is hoping to make a splash in Britain as it begins exporting 30 years after it was first established.

One of Ireland’s best known brands, Ballygowan, is hoping to make a splash in Britain.

Britvic Ireland has said that export of Ballygowan natural mineral water to Britain will commence this month. The move comes thirty years after the brand launched in Ireland. It has dominated the Irish bottled water market with approximately 20 per cent share in grocery, 50 per cent in licensed trade and 40 per cent in the water cooler market.
