Balls.ie breaks million-user barrier

Sports website Balls.ie has passed the one million unique user per month mark. The site, founded in 2010, has trebled its audience since January.

Balls Media launched a British version of the site, Balls.co.uk, at the start of June and plans to enter the US market with Balls.net in 2015.

The company has five full-time staff, and its founders are Brian Reynolds, Newstalk sports editor Ger Gilroy and Donny Mahoney.
