BAI upholds complaints against TV3 programmes

The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland's compliance committee upheld three complaints against TV3 programmes in its latest round of deliberations.

The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland's compliance committee upheld three complaints against TV3 programmes in its latest round of deliberations.

One concerned an Ireland AM broadcast last August on the topic of abortion, which a complainant said lacked fairness, objectivity and impartiality, since the pro-life view was being "maligned with the taint of nastiness and uncivilised behaviour".

Another complaint was upheld about a Tonight with Vincent Browne programme in October 2012 which featured remarks against Israel.
