The broadcasting regulator has denied having proposed a ban on cheese advertising before 9pm.

In response to comments made by Fine Gael parliamentary party chairman Charlie Flanagan about plans to ban cheese ads, the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland (BAI) said it had not as yet made any decisions.
