Bacon wants bank directors to respond to Nama allegations

Bank directors must state whether they agree with allegations from Nama that it was misled by the banks in relation to the quality of their loan books, according to Dr Peter Bacon, who drew up the original Nama blueprint.

Bank directors must state whether they agree with allegations from Nama that it was misled by the banks in relation to the quality of their loan books, according to Dr Peter Bacon, who drew up the original Nama blueprint.

Frank Daly, the Nama chairman, recently told the Public Accounts Committee that details provided by the banks were misleading.

This claim has already been challenged by Dr Michael Somers, the former National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA)...
