The British Airports Authority is likely to appeal the decision ordering it to sell both Gatwick and Stansted airports, as well as one of its Scottish airports. The Competition Commission ordered last Thursday that the sales take place within the next two years.
However, BAA chief executive Colin Matthews said the watchdog’s examination was ‘‘flawed’’, and indicated that an appeal to the Competition Appeal Tribunal would take place in the next two months....
