Road safety advertising agency Lyle Bailie International Ltd has won an Effie award from the European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA) for a cross-border seatbelts campaign, titled Damage. Part of a cross-border campaign to encourage the wearing of seatbelts, the campaign was given an award for socially-responsible advertising by the judges for ‘‘increasing seatbelt wearing rates and saving lives’’.
