Aviva CEO Andrew Moss bows to investor pressure
UPDATE: Insurance group Aviva has announced the departure of its chief executive Andrew Moss after an outcry over pay from shareholders.
Insurance group Aviva has said its chief executive Andrew Moss is to leave the company with immediate effect.
Moss had come under heavy pressure at the company's annual shareholder meeting last week, where a majority of shareholders voted against its executive pay plans.
Aviva said Moss had made the decision "that he felt it was in the best interests of the company that he step aside to make way for new leadership."
