Average price of hotel room drops to €61

Thousands of unwanted hotel rooms have driven down the average price of a room to just €61 per night, the Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) has revealed.

Thousands of unwanted hotel rooms have driven down the average price of a room to just €61 per night, the Irish Hotels Federation (IHF) has revealed.

John Power, the federation’s president, said hotels were struggling to retain 2009 room rates and that prices were continuing to drop.
