Avatar director James Cameron has said some so-called 3D movies were not of the required standard.

Avatar director James Cameron has said some so-called 3D movies were not of the required standard.

Cameron, quoted on Variety's website, said: "The way it's being done, it's not 3D, it's 2.2 D or 2.4D."

Cameron is working with Fox on a 3D conversion of his 1997 movie Titanic.
