Autonomy chief executive sees stake in firm surge to stg£115m

Mike Lynch, the Irish founder and chief executive of British software Autonomy, has seen his stake in the firm surge in value to more than stg£110 million (€170.4 million).

Mike Lynch, the Irish founder and chief executive of British software Autonomy, has seen his stake in the firm surge in value to more than stg£110 million (€170.4 million).

Shares in Autonomy rose more than 15 per cent on the London Stock Exchange last week after the firm said its third quarter results would be better than analysts expected.

Lynch owns 21.8 million shares in Autonomy, which were worth stg£5.33 each after last week’s surge....
