Australian insurance giant QBE is cutting staff at its Irish operation, with up to 25 jobs likely to be lost.

QBE Ireland employs 85 people in Dublin in three businesses, operating in the commercial insurance and reinsurance markets. However, it is understood that between 20 and 25 staff look set to lose their jobs after the company took a decision to make changes to its insurance business here.
