The Health Service Executive (HSE) has launched an internal inquiry into contracts awarded to two Dublin building companies.

The Health Service Executive (HSE) has launched an internal inquiry into contracts awarded to two Dublin building companies.

The audit started last week, after The Sunday Business Post revealed that a Dublin building company used by the HSE had carried out work on the house of a senior HSE officer. Several other HSE employees involved in the tendering process informed management last week that they had used HSE contractors in a private capacity.
