Audit manager to sue IIB Bank

A former senior manager in the audit department of IIB Bank is suing his former employers for unfair dismissal, claiming that the bank's management sought to interfere with the independence of the internal audit.

A former senior manager in the audit department of IIB Bank is suing his former employers for unfair dismissal, claiming that the bank's management sought to interfere with the independence of the internal audit.

The Sunday Business Post has learned that Sean Lyons, who worked in the bank's internal audit department for 12 years, has taken an action against IIB claiming he was constructively dismissed. The case will be heard by the Employment Appeals Tribunal...
