Cork company Audit Diagnostics has partnered with Enterprise Ireland (EI) to fund a €350,000 research project to develop a point-of-care test for thyroid disorders.

Cork company Audit Diagnostics has partnered with Enterprise Ireland (EI) to fund a €350,000 research project to develop a point-of-care test for thyroid disorders.

Under the terms of the two year agreement, Audit Diagnostics will work with the Biomedical Diagnostics Institute (BDI) in Dublin City University on the ThyroQuant project.

The objective of the project will be to produce a fast, low cost test for thyroid disorders, which will allow doctors to diagnose patients accurately...
