Atlantic Bridge leads investment in US smartphone tech firm

Atlantic Bridge, the venture capital firm backed by businessmen Dermot Desmond and Denis O’Brien, has led an $18 million investment in a US firm that develops technology for smartphones.

Atlantic Bridge, the venture capital firm backed by businessmen Dermot Desmond and Denis O’Brien, has led an $18 million investment in a US firm that develops technology for smartphones.

The Dublin-based funder has invested in Silicon Blue Technologies, which is based in Santa Clara in California, and has offices in China, Taiwan, Korea and Japan. It was the fourth round of investment for Silicon Blue, which is also backed by international funders Apex Venture...
