At least 80 killed as terrorists target Egypt

At least 80 people were killed and 200 injured in bomb attacks in the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh early yesterday morning.

At least 80 people were killed and 200 injured in bomb attacks in the Egyptian Red Sea resort of Sharm el-Sheikh early yesterday morning.

The attack is the deadliest seen in Egypt in recent years and the worst since Islamist militants killed 62 people in Luxor in 1997. Yesterday's dead were mainly locals but at least eight foreigners are believed to have died in the popular tourist destination.
