Is it too late to start a pension nest egg?

**Question: I am only 42 years of age, married with three children aged two, five and seven. I have just joined a new company on a better salary (€68,000) and prospects. However, I have absolutely no pension provision, and I just wonder should I even bother at this late stage. There is the usual 5 per cent employer contribution if I match it. Any advice?**
