Ashville group sees profits rise

Profits at Ashville Media Group, Ireland’s largest contract and consumer publishing company, jumped last year despite the recession.

Profits at Ashville Media Group, Ireland’s largest contract and consumer publishing company, jumped last year despite the recession.

The group, which produces over 100 publications a year, made a profit of €297,675 for the year ending December 31, 2008, up from €7,749 the previous year. Ashville did not disclose its turnover in the accounts filed with the Companies Office. Its operating profit increased from €170,450 in 2007 to €493,708 last year.
