Aryzta shares fall despite rise in revenue

Underlying revenue in Aryzta’s food business increased by 3.7 per cent.

Irish and Swiss food company Aryzta saw a revenue jump of 16.7 per cent to €1.37 billion in the 13 weeks to the end of April.

Strong underlying growth was enhanced by the completion of acquisitions announced in March. Underlying revenue in the company’s food business increased by 3.7 per cent in the quarter compared with the same period last year.
