Irish and Swiss food group, Aryzta saw its sales rise 0.9 per cent to €1.9 billion, according to its interim report for the first half of its 2012 financial year.

Aryzta’s earnings before interest, tax and amortisation increased by 3.3 per cent to €178.8 million, while pre-tax profits rose to €146 million in the first half compared to €143 million in the same period in 2011.
