Aryzta posts strong revenue growth in trading update

Irish and Swiss based food group has posted a 9.6 per cent increase in revenue to €692.6 million in the first quarter, it said in a trading update.

Irish and Swiss based food group Aryzta has posted a 9.6 per cent increase in revenue to €692.6 million in the first quarter, it said in a trading update.

The revenue growth comprised of 4.4 per cent underlying growth and 6.7 per cent acquisition related growth, reflecting the addition of British flatbread business Honeytop and Maidstone Bakeries in Canada.

The company said that it had not seen any significant change in the trading environment since it last reported...
