Anton Corbijn talks about his latest film and its leading man, the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, writes James Mottram.
A Most Wanted Man – the title of his latest film – might well apply to Anton Corbijn. The Dutch-born photographer, video director and, recently, feature filmmaker is arguably more in demand than some of his subjects.
He certainly has an uncanny ability to make people – rock stars, painters, actors – seem cool. It was he who snapped that famous shot of Joy Division in 1979 in a London Tube station. And ...
