Older and wiser after all these years, Courtney Love is gearing up for a Hole reformation and endeavouring to put her troubled past behind her, writes Graeme Thomson.
With Courtney Love, it seems, it's always personal. It is entirely typical of the Hole singer and widow of the late Kurt Cobain to return from a lengthy sabbatical with a song called You Know My Name, a sharp, shouty nod to her own infamy which also manages to swipe at her legions of detractors.
