Arts Council helps support 2,270 jobs

The arts provide significant employment in Ireland with Exchequer funding to the sector helping to support some 2,270 jobs, a new report has shown.

The Arts Council report said that the employment generated from its annual funding from the Exchequer

generates an annual turnover of €184 million with tax revenues of €42 million.
