Well, it didn’t take long for the rot to set in. Overjoyed as the world has been for the past two minutes by Britain’s Got Talent singer Susan Boyle’s success; by her less-than-good looks and surprisingly beautiful voice, the feeling of wellbeing - and stream of gushy articles - has already begun to die down, to be replaced in its stead by the usual mish-mash of tabloid/internet rumours, half-truths and parasitic news flashes ...
