On Wednesday night, I went to see a play in the Abbey Theatre. It wasn't a terrible play, by any means. But it probably wasn't quite my cup of tea - if I'm being honest, I approach the theatre looking for that most pretentious-sounding of concerns, some kind of insight into the human condition.
