Oysters have long been touted as an aphrodisiac, and with St Valentine’s Day just behind us, a little smoked shellfish is the perfect delicacy of the moment.

Shellfish expert Stephen Kavanagh is a marine biologist by profession, but is passionate about food production. In May 2000, he combined his expertise and passion by establishing his business, smoking shellfish in Co Wicklow.
