Property developer David Arnold is the favourite to win a bidding war for a €600 million property portfolio in Covent Garden in London.

Property developer David Arnold is the favourite to win a bidding war for a €600 million property portfolio in Covent Garden in London.

The 39 properties include the market building in the piazza and a number of surrounding boutiques, restaurants, cafes and bars.

Arnold’s company, D2 Private, is facing competition from a joint venture comprising a division of Liberty International, GE Real Estate and one other bidder, which sources said was Irish developer Paddy McKillen....
