Timoney Holdings, a Co Meath company that makes armoured vehicles, made a pre-tax profit of more than €1 million last year, up from €626,536 for 2011.

Timoney, who initially sold their armoured personnel carriers to the Irish Defence Forces in the 1970s, increased profits, despite revenues falling €2 million to €4.1 million.
