Management at Ardmore Studios is in discussions with the Irish Film Board (IFB) about plans for the country's biggest film studio, which has produced big-budget dramas including The Tudors and Camelot.

The issues under discussion are understood to include funding plans for Ardmore, which is owned by U2 manager Paul McGuinness, accountant Ossie Kilkenny and Enterprise Ireland. The Co Wicklow studio employs about 20 people.
