British property and development company Hammerson has appointed architectural practice Acme to design its new quarter in the north inner city centre.

The group owns Dundrum Town Centre, the Ilac Centre in Dublin and the Pavilions in Swords and has expressed an interest in acquiring Clerys department store if it were to go on sale.

The six-acre central Dublin site stretches from O’Connell Street Upper to Parnell Street and across to Moore and Henry Streets...
