Arab-Irish: Mobile set to continue impressive growth

Mobile travel technology firm dials into region's new smartphone generation as part of long-term plan, writes Ruth Wildgust.

The explosive growth of mobile services in the Arab states was highlighted in a report published last year by the GSM Association, which represents the interests of mobile operators worldwide.

Based on research by Deloitte, the GSMA Arab States Mobile Observatory indicated a 32 per cent average annual growth in mobile connections over the previous 10 years.
