APN revenue and earnings fall sharply

INM's Australian interest APN News & Media said its revenue fell 13 per cent to A$929m (€718 million) and earnings were down 25 per cent to A$156m.

APN News & Media said its revenue fell 13 per cent to A$929m (€718 million) and earnings were down 25 per cent to A$156m. Independent News & Media (INM) has a 28.95 per cent shareholding in APN, which is focused on the Australian and New Zealand media markets.

The revenue decline arose from “deconsolidation of APN Outdoor” and revenue from continuing operations was up 2 per cent, with earnings from continuing operations down 14 per cent....
