Another windfall for Eontec shareholders

Shareholders in software firm Eontec - who made $70million in the company’s 2004 takeover - have received an extra $15.7 million after the company met sales targets since the acquisition.

Shareholders in software firm Eontec - who made $70million in the company’s 2004 takeover - have received an extra $15.7 million after the company met sales targets since the acquisition.

The payment was made during the third quarter of last year, according to US stock exchange filings by Siebel Systems, which bought Eontec in April 2004. They show that Eontec met ‘‘certain revenue-related targets as defined in the purchase agreement’’.
