Sales of the London Independent went up 30 per cent on May 16, the day Bono took over as editor.

Now the British paper is going for it again, with a special edition of the paper guest-designed by fashion designer Giorgio Armani on Thursday.

The project is the latest stage in the Independent’s partnership with the Red initiative, which was set up in conjunction with the UN-affiliated Global Fund to help those affected by HIV/Aids in Africa....
