Former Anglo Irish Bank executive, Fiachre O'Neill, travelled from Luxembourg to testify at the Anglo trial in March.

In answers to questions conducted voir dire, in the absence of the jury, O'Neill, who was group head of compliance at Anglo in 2008, explained how he arrived at his belief that the Maple transaction was legal.
