Anglo set to sue Quinn family

Anglo Irish Bank is preparing to take actions against Sean Quinn and members of his family on foot of the personal guarantees they have given on €2.8 billion of unpaid loans to the bank.

Anglo Irish Bank is preparing to take actions against Sean Quinn and members of his family on foot of the personal guarantees they have given on €2.8 billion of unpaid loans to the bank.

The actions are likely to emerge in the coming weeks. Sean Quinn has personally guaranteed a substantial portion of the €2.8 billion outstanding debt, while his wife and children have given personal guarantees totalling almost €500 million.
