Anglo Irish Bank has recorded a shock fall-off in its pipeline of upcoming loans in Ireland.

Anglo Irish Bank has recorded a shock fall-off in its pipeline of upcoming loans in Ireland.

Chairman Sean FitzPatrick said: ‘‘it may be imprudent to expect a repeat of the exceptional level of net new lending recorded in the first half of the year’’, but lending growth would still be ‘‘strong’’.
