Anglo in line for €6.9m payout

Kerry development loans will be repaid to the bank, even though its solicitor altered guarantee forms after they were signed, writes Kieron Wood.

The High Court has ruled that Anglo Irish Bank is entitled to be repaid €6.9 million in loans for a Kerry development, even though the bank's solicitor changed guarantee forms after they were signed.

Anglo sought repayment of loans totalling €6,882,970 from Denis Collins, Michael Kiernan and Richard Fitzgerald, after they signed personal guarantees relating to loans to their company, MDZ Ltd.
