Anglo finance chief McAteer charged with 16 offences
UPDATE: Former Anglo Irish Bank finance director Willie McAteer was arrested today and charged charged with 16 counts under Section 60 of the Companies Act.
Former Anglo Irish Bank finance director Willie McAteer was arrested today and charged charged with 16 counts under Section 60 of the Companies Act.
McAteer, who was in court, was remanded on his own bond by an Irish judge and ordered to appear before the court on the charges on October 8th.
Former Anglo Irish Bank managing director for Ireland, Patrick Whelan was also charged in the Dublin District Court this afternoon on the same 16 counts.
