Anglo chooses docklands site

Anglo Irish Bank has chosen a site in Dublin’s docklands owned by billionaire property developer Liam Carroll as the location for its new headquarters.

Anglo Irish Bank has chosen a site in Dublin’s docklands owned by billionaire property developer Liam Carroll as the location for its new headquarters.

The headquarters will be based at the old seven-acre site once owned by building supplies company Brooks Thomas.

The site is located at North Wall Quay, close to the proposed National Conference Centre and the International Financial Services Centre (IFSC). Anglo Irish has been searching for a new home...
