Anger at limits of PRSI dental scheme

The new limits set on the PRSI dental scheme in the budget will have a ‘‘devastating’’ effect on the dental profession, according to an organisation representing 1,400 dentists.

The new limits set on the PRSI dental scheme in the budget will have a ‘‘devastating’’ effect on the dental profession, according to an organisation representing 1,400 dentists.

Figures from the Irish Dental Association (IDA) suggest that average dentist income from the PRSI scheme will fall from €57,500 to €11,250 after the budget.
