Analysts predict British retail stock rebound

British consumer stocks, such as Kingfisher, Boots and Halfords, have been oversold and will rebound, despite the economic slowdown in Europe's second-biggest economy, according to investment strategists in Dublin and London.

British consumer stocks, such as Kingfisher, Boots and Halfords, have been oversold and will rebound, despite the economic slowdown in Europe's second-biggest economy, according to investment strategists in Dublin and London.

The share prices of these firms have fallen by more than 10 per cent in recent months, as consumers in Britain react to rising interest rates, a cooling housing market and unmanageable levels of personal debt.
