Spending on ambient advertising was robust last year, according to a report from Poster Management Limited. The 2005 display value was €27 million, up 8.2 per cent from €25 million in 2004.

Entertainment, media and financial advertiser categories rose significantly. Ambient covers a wide range of newer media categories, from screens at petrol stations, to posters in dressing rooms to shopping trolley handles.
