Alumnia: "intense work" continues on Ryanair / Aer Lingus deliberations

European Union competition commissioner Joaquin Almunia has told reporters that “intense work” is continuing on deliberations into Ryanair’s bid for Aer Lingus.

European Union competition commissioner Joaquin Almunia has told reporters that “intense work” is continuing on deliberationsinto Ryanair’s bid for Aer Lingus.

“We are discussing possible remedies, exchanging views. But I have no new information to give you today,” European Union Competition Commissioner Joaquin Almunia said.

“We continue intense work on this case,” Almunia told reporters in Brussels.
