Almost Euro 2 billion in commercial deals

Market maintains momentum despite departure of bargain hunters.

As much as Euro 1.9 billion worth of commercial property is expected to change hands this year and the value of deals next year could top Euro 2 billion. That's a huge increase on the Euro 557 million and Euro 192 million recorded in 2012 and 2011 respectively.

This momentum looks set to be sustained into 2014, despite signs that some of the vulture bargain hunters may be losing interest in the Irish market.
