Property company Allsop Space has signed an agreement committing that neither it nor its subsidiary companies will offer repossessed family homes for sale at auction.

The property company signed the deal with the Irish Mortgage Holders' Organisation yesterday after weeks of negotiation prompted by an approach by the mortgage group to the property company.
